THE AGE GROUP

The age group 2 1/2 - 6 yrs is, by far, the most significant period of a child's life when a vital foundation for its better future can be laid firmly. Good habits/manners learnt and picked up during this crucial period have a lasting impact on the child's life. The child develops its own personality and behavior-pattern through wiling and spontaneous interaction at play with other children of his/her own age group. Thus, pre-school education during this period can help a lot in the growth and learning of the child. It can fulfill the developmental needs (physical, emotional, social and psychological) of the child, to a great extent. The Grammar School, in this context is an humble effort of selfless dedication to the Early childhood education programmes, established by a voluntary registered organization consisting of eminent educationists and scholars.

About us

Early Childhood Education is today recognized the world over , as a crucial input for the all round growth and development of the child. In the long-term perspective, it can well ensure a sound foundation for primary schooling of the children. This concept of ECE has been receiving more and more attention of our educationists and educational planners for the last few years. There is , however, an imperative necessity of setting up preschools under the ECE programme wherein a certain level of standardization of quality in curriculum, infrastructure, teaching staff and other supporting inputs is ensured, sustained and strengthened.

In this context, I am happy to introduce you to The Grammar School, Ashok Vihar, Phase 1, Delhi-52 which has been established by a dedicated, voluntary, registered organization with an eminent membership of educationists and scholars.

This pre-school has been planned and launched with a firm conviction to provide quality based preschooling to our school children for their all round growth and development, leading to a self dedicated and self controlled studentship, later on, at the primary, secondary, and higher levels of education.
